The It Factor Production advisory board was formed to provide the company advice and recommendations on bringing insight from a wide perspective of entertainment related and business management and operations ideas. Topics that the board will address include customer service, event management, innovative technology, and procurement of new talent and unique business opportunities to help the company grow to the next level. The following individuals all have top-level business experience in executive management and an abundance of functional expertise, which they will use to envision a more capable and efficient company that delivers high-caliber service to our clients.
John Buffalo Mailer – After graduating from Weslyan University, John Buffalo Mailer founded Back House Productions in New York City with three of his fellow grads. Within one year Back House became the resident theater company of The Drama Bookshop’s Arthur Seelan Theater, and developed several plays, including the 2008 TONY Award Winner for Best Musical, “In The Heights”. John is a member of The Dramatists Guild, Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and The Actors Studio. He has lectured at the University of Notre Dame, Wesleyan, the University of Athens, Syracuse University, The New York Society for Ethical Culture, The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, Long Island University, NYU, and has appeared on Fox News – Hannity and Combs, Air America, Democracy Now, WNYC, TheBigThink.com, and CSPAN’s Book TV. This performance led to Elle Magazine naming John one of the top Ten Breakout Stars of 2010. John’s script “Blind”, a romantic drama that made Hollywood’s Blacklist, will star Clive Owen, and Uma Thurman is in talks to star opposite him. The film is being produced by Michael Mailer via his shingle, Michael Mailer Films, and Mark Damon.
Pat Flicker Addiss is one of the most prominent female producers on Broadway. Addiss has produced notable Broadway musicals such as Promises Promises, Little Women, Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life, Spring Awakening(8 Tony Awards), Passing Strange(1Tony) A CHRISTMAS STORY THE MUSICAL(only seasonal show to be nominated for 3 Tony Awards). Stephen started out as a young writer, first published In McCall’s Magazine at age 6. Heading out to Indiana State University, Costello served as both Sports Editor, Than managing editor, of The Shield. Costello also performed in Indiana State University’s rendering of Once Upon a Mattress whereas he starred as Prince Dauntless. Costello spent most of his adult career building the Brand at P.C. Richard and Son, beginning in 1986 when they were an eight store chain. Over the next two decades Costello would bring them mainstream in dealing with Athlete endorsement celebrity appearances, and TV Commercial. Having a totally different approach to marketing the P.C. Richard brand, Costello Teamed up appliance legend AJ Richard with Hall of Fame baseball legend Phil Rizzuto. Costello wrote out a script on his kitchen table, and produced the spots with CBC media the following week. It was a home run, and led to a series of future advertising Including Yankee stars Bernie Williams, David Cone, and many other athletes and celebrities. After P.C. Richard Costello brought his game to Steiner Sports, where he now works with the pro’s. Steiner sports represents Eli Manning, Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, in their collectible endeavors. Costello is currently writing, The Tale of Two Lefties, a story that comingles his life experiences with the Greatest game ever pitched. The book will be available this fall. Costello has his own Charitable foundation, “Candle in the Darkness” and has given his time and resources to The Marty Lyons Foundation, The Baldwin Fund, The American Cancer Society, and Westchester Family Services.
Alycia Kaback – “If you want to fly with the eagles, stop swimming with the ducks” The quote, that catapulted Alycia Kaback’s shift from mortgage broker to the entertainment industries’ lead power connector, is also the core foundation to the teachings she dishes up to fresh talent trying to ‘make it’ in the biz. More than just a theory, as it has brought her from an un-fulfilling job, into a fabulous career that fully embodies her life purpose, which is helping people. Alycia’s path to success is a true testament and a perfect reflection of the dedication, and belief she brings to all her clients and endeavors. Alycia currently operates a high fashion modeling agency in NYC and Philadelphia REACH Management. Alycia represents both newcomers and recognized celebrities from hit shows, such as American Idol and America’s Next Top Model. She continues to grace stages and airwaves with her no holds bar persona, inspiring all those with a dream, and the determination to see it through, to just go for it! Her new book Finding Fame: The Insiders Guide to the Industry is due out in 2015.
Bill has been in the show business for over 40 years. As an entertainer, Bill has performed his music and comedy act in night clubs, theatres, and appears regularly as a talent for many charitable events. He has appeared as an actor-singer in many off-Broadway productions as well as “gigs” on TV. Bill is also a Master of Ceremonies for various corporate events. As a matter of fact, he was the very first MC when VIP Talent Connect commenced their first summit at a standing-room-only venue in Philadelphia. Since then, he has hosted most of their very successful, one-of-a-kind “Summits.” Although his performance career is an undying passion, Bill is perhaps most well-known for his illustrious career as a writer, photographer, and broadcaster in the world of Professional Wrestling. He regularly “rubs-elbows” with athletes such as Hulk Hogan, Triple H, John Cena, The Rock, and so many more.
